Hi, I have come across this issue myself on a a number of occasions. You may also have the occasional 447xxxxxxxxx etc on analogue lines too. Modifying the CallerID is a very simple procedure, however it does have to be done using custom dialplan - FreePBX's admin pages do not have this functionality. It would however be very transparent, meaning that you would not notice any change other than the fact the caller id is now correct (for reference, both the links you supplied recommend custom dialplan). A bit about myself: I am a UK based Asterisk PBX developer with several years experience. I have developed a number of bespoke PBX solutions, including hosted and distributed platforms. I can do this need root access of asterisk server and please let me know asterisk and freepbx installed already or need to install from starting.
