There are 3 rooms that are being monitored. Each room has 1 switch (one of 3 LSB switches of SWL),
1 Light ( one of 3 LSB leds of LEDRL), and 1 motion detector (one of left 3 pushbuttons). There is also a
MASTER ON/OFF switch (upper SWITCH of SWH), that will be used to Turn ON/OFF the Green Energy
control system.
When the GREEN Energy Control system is OFF, then the switch in each room simply turns ON/
OFF the Light in that room. This means that if a switch is left on, and nobody is in the room, then energy is
wasted. When the GREEN Energy Control system is ON, when a switch is turned on, it has to have had
motion detected (push button pressed) before the light will turn on. After 5 seconds (for demo purposes), if
motion is NOT detected the light will turn off, even though the switch is still on. The light will shut off if the
switch is turned off though.
To have the light on in any room then, the motion detector ( push button) must be triggered within 5
second intervals. No matter when the motion detector is triggered, from that time, the light will stay on for
5 seconds (assuming the light switch is on).
The Local Sensor Station will have TP7 connected to a slowly changing SINE wave ( 10 milliHertz).
This input will emulate the different PEAK Levels of Power usage. LOW PEAK (voltage < 0x20) , MEDIUM
PEAK (voltage between 0x20 - 0x90), and HIGH PEAK ( voltage > 0x90), will have different cost factors.
LOW PEAK will have 1 Cost unit per data sent to the REMOTE Monitoring System, MEDIUM PEAK will
have 2 Cost units per data sent, and HIGH PEAK will have 3 Cost units per data sent. These Cost units will be
processed on the REMOTE Monitoring station.
