Six 300-500 word short articles and three 750-1250 word longer pieces to be used as new content on a website about personal finance, debt, and generational mindsets. Each article will include 1-3 graphics (with source) and 2-6 external links. Website is geared toward educated lower-to-middle class Americans of all ages (the "professional class" that is VERY financially strapped but has strong monthly household income & advanced degrees). These pieces should target three specific generations: Millenials (who became adults in year 2000 and later) Generation X (typically adults born between 1965 & 1980) Boomers (the baby boom generation who are approaching retirement). The first milestone on this project is a list of nine proposed topics (one long piece and two short articles per generation). The focus of each article should be different; I am not interested in the same article re-written for three age groups. Creativity is encouraged -- the only additional guideline is that the articles need to loosely relate to the goal of accumulating wealth and reducing debt over the lifespan. After that list of proposed topics is approved, I would like to be very hands-off on this project. My ideal freelancer will upload 1-2 articles in .doc or .docx format (with embedded graphics or hyperlinks) every week without requiring much communication. I will post these articles to my financial planning website where I have done most of the writing. I tend to write in longer, complex sentences because of my background and I am hoping to find a freelance provider who writes in a similar, "academic" style for continuity. Friendliness and personal opinion are welcome in the articles, so long as there is strong content included. Content needs to be unique as indexed by search engines. SEO is not important to me; sound ideas and coherent synthesis of the web's resources on a topic are. My ideal bid includes: - a provider who has a strong command of US English - a provider who includes a sample of writing in their bid - price of $50-100 - several ideas for article topics (this is why bids are hidden from other providers) Great opportunity for new providers: I will post feedback for you upon completion - bid low if you are new! Willing to work with new US providers. International providers must have [login to view URL] feedback. I would love to continue this relationship for additional articles if satisfactorily completed. I have another project posted for specific types of finance article writing if that would suit your abilities better: title is "Nine Personal Finance 400-750 word articles" Bid for fewer articles rather than for a higher price; my budget is tight for this project. Turnaround time is not important to me when compared with quality and price. Willing to offer a byline with link/bio for a discount bid, if that's important to you. If you have personal experience struggling with the pressures related to graduate school, choosing a socially-relevant career, and managing debt, PLEASE BID on this project! You are a part of the community I want to reach with this project, and you are absolutely the person I want to help write the content.
