I am an electrical engineer with experience designing embedded systems. I recently worked on a very similar project. I have a simple micro controller based solution in mind for this project. After you select me I will work with you to develop specific requirements and select appropriate hardware. Then I will draw the schematic and write the firmware.

I propose that a part from Cypress semiconductor be used. In this part all of the hardware and software can be implemented with maximum flexibility and will easily accomplish your goals in a timely fashion. In the past I have worked with microprocessors and microcontrollers starting from the Motorola 6800 and 68000 families to Cypress PSOC processors. All my code is written in C using free development software from Cypress. I have all of the test equipment and hardware to fully develop and test your project. If it is necessary it would be possible to use the TI chip. I have used other TI processors in the past.
