Link to Learn Foundation is seeking agents to provide telephone technical support for the organization's customers. Link to Learn Foundation is a leader in the education technology space. Link to Learn Foundation brings Subject Matter Experts into classrooms via the web to give live, "real life" perspectives and lectures on a vast array of topics. HOURS: Full-time & Part-time options available LOCATION: Link to Learn's organizational structure provides agents the opportunity to work from home. Agents must be based in the United States. DESCRIPTION: Agents for the Link to Learn provide high-touch, white-glove support for business software and mobile devices. Support covers "how-to" questions for a variety of applications including: - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SharePoint, etc. - Windows operating systems - iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry mobile devices MICROSOFT OFFICE SPECIALIST ("MOS") CERTIFICATION A SIGNIFICANT PLUS Agents must also have familiarity with standard network arrangements and security concepts. This is an external, Customer-facing position. Agents must be conscientious about providing thorough support, and be understanding, responsive and cooperative for client support requests. They must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, non-technical manner. Agents must pay close attention to detail and following internal processes for providing support and documenting all steps taken. They also need to be team players, collaborative with their colleagues and a desire to be a resource and share their knowledge with others. ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS: - The ability to learn new applications quickly, and to certify in numerous software applications - Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule as mandated by the customer to meet business needs. - Bilingual in Spanish or French Canadian is a plus - Familiar with ITIL, COPC and/or Six Sigma - Familiar with any of the following: Visual BASIC, VB .NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, or any other object orientated programming language
