Dear Photo Editors and Photoshop Experts, My name is Marie Southard Ospina, and I am the Associate Fashion & Beauty Editor at [login to view URL] -- a New York-based women's media publication. One of the greatest parts of my work is that it allows me to delve into the subjects of body positivity, size acceptance and inclusivity, and constructs of "beauty" and "femininity" in the everyday. I am embarking on a bit of a project that would require the help of a lot of photo editors and Photoshop experts from around the globe. As a plus-size woman who has worked in fashion and beauty for a long time now, I have seen how various editors will modify my body and face to "make me beautiful." This has made me incredibly interested in how beauty is perceived and represented on an international level, and I would love to find out how editors around the world would "make me beautiful" if editing a photo of my face for a magazine in their country of origin. I am interested in collaborating with photographers in approximately 20 different countries. This is a micro project, for which you would only need to edit a single photo. I can offer you a small stipend, but a lot of exposure! We are ranked in the 70s in leading websites in the U.S. at the moment, and growing every day.
