Indesign Book Layout - Ad agency work, ongoing if you're good!

BOOK LAYOUT FOR AD AGENCY This is a specific assignment, but we are looking for excellent graphic designers for all sorts of on-going work, send any portfolios or links to work you've done or can do - we'd be interested to see them. This assignment is for a very simple book layout, about 75 pages, most of it is flowing text from a Word document. This is an easy job because there is already a template for how it needs to be set up from previous publications in the series. It needs to be done in Indesign CS2 because there are normally footnotes in the text. We prefer it if you work in Windows for this, but OS X may not be the end of the world - let us know. We will send you the Word document and a previous publication, and you can just amend that file. Be aware that there may be some client amends after the draft layout is completed. It would probably help if you have a broadband connection, but again it's not the end of the world if you don't - we just need to know. IMPORTANT! Please remember that this is sub-contracting work (not 'retail'), we can offer on-going assignments if you're great at your work. CONFIDENTIAL: Everything you do for us must be conducted in the strictest confidence. GOOD COMMUNICATION: You need to be responsive to emails, and generally be professional and have a good attitude. Our work is never about us or you - it's about the client. Get that right, and everything else falls into place. There is potential for on-going work with this project if it works well - this is very much a test to see how it goes. We do many of these each year. This particular publication also happens to be for a very worthwhile cause. We would prefer to pay online in some way, let us know how you accept payment. We will pay when the work is completed. GENERAL GRAPHIC DESIGN: If you have a talent for any kind of graphic design then do send along your portfolios as well, even if you're not interested and able to do this particular assignment. We're especially interested in vector/Illustrator artists with a commercial eye, and can offer multiple assignments.
