I need a logo designed for an upcoming Hostel in Goa, India.
The name is “Julley Hostel”
Julley (जुले ) is not just a word. It’s a magical word. Not a single word, it's a complete sentence, or a story. And sometime, it is more than a sentence. Julley is a mesmerizing word that gets your work done anywhere in Ladakh. It brings you respect, helps you find way, gets you tasty food, brings you closer to local people, makes new friends, gets you helping hands and many more.
To put it simply - it’s a code of friendship and everything friendship
Julley (or Joolay) is a common word used by local people, mostly Buddhists of Ladakh (and areas of Himachal including Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and parts of Kullu) which means Namaste, Hey, Hello, Hi, Welcome, Thank you, Please, Bye... Meaning of Julley has changed over the [login to view URL] somebody says you Julley, just reply: “Julley” with smile on face and a little hunched shoulders to express your respect to the person.
This will be the opposite of the party hostel, the chill out hostel with positive and relaxed vibe only. From spending time all day in a hammock philosophizing on travel and life, or chatting with new found friends playing a proverbial board game or enjoy a chilled beer and poker, or just chill in a corner to read book. Expect a totally laid back & mellow vibe and relaxation all the way.
The logo unit should essentially have the following elements:
1. JULLEY word should be in a mix of English and Ladakhi / Hindi font typeface
2. A cool monk walking or in some fun mode carrying a backpack
3. Tibetan prayer flag
