I need some Graphic Design -- 2

Start Date: - Immediate Start Contract Length: - approx one month Location: - To be based from Newcastle office Type: - Freelancer Hours: - 9:30 to 5:30 (Monday to Friday) We are looking for a graduate holding a degree in Graphic Design or similar and up to three years’ relevant experience in a graphic design role. A team player who brings new, innovative and creative solutions to projects and is able to communicate them effectively with clear, eye catching layouts and typography. Graphic Designers will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build on good relationships with in-house staff, clients and suppliers, playing a very important role in the creative output of the Graphic Design team at NLP. They should be able to manage their work programme efficiently and effectively. An interest in the built environment is essential. The role involves assisting to deliver design support for development projects such as reports, illustration and mapping, websites, leaflets, presentations and public exhibitions as well as supporting the company’s marketing efforts through a variety of media including brochure design and assisting to update NLP’s website and social media sites. The role will often involve working to very tight deadlines. Good photography skills are also an advantage. The Graphic Designer could be involved with developing document templates and helping maintain NLP’s in-house photo library. They will also be required to assist with cartography tasks in the absence of a CAD Technician. Software Skills Advanced: • InDesign • Illustrator • Photoshop Intermediate: • Powerpoint • Web design
