I have created a website using wordpress locally. Now I tried to upload it on a webserver so that the website is available online. Unfortunately it does not work as expected, there are two problems with the website: 1. When viewing the website the "layout" is missing, there are some text elements of the navigation visible but the website is not useable 2. I can't access wp-admin - all I get is a 404 not found (reauth=1 error) In the past I got it working by myself but now I don't. What I have done already: - upload all files of the htdocs directory via ftp - Export local SQL database and import the content to the server database - Changed [login to view URL] settings I guess it is only a small error somewhere but I am not an wordpress/HTML/PHP expert and it is difficult for me to find the bug and get it working. Your task is to identify the problem, correct it so that the website is shown as intended (equal to local version) and document the problem. I would like to be able to upload the website by myself in future without the need of external help.
