424965 JS not work in safari-chrome

hi I have my JS code thats not working in Chrome and Safari, its basically code that check the Click event and redirects page, please check the example... [login to view URL]*hat*[login to view URL] now I have found by searching that we need to add "return false;" in front of <a href="url" return false;>this is url</a>, now this work fine with <a href> but not with my function.. can you please fix and get back to me through pmb.. cheers
