NOTE: please read the below job post carefully. It is a short post, and failure to follow any of the listed points will lead to immediate declining of your bid. We are looking for an expert javascript developer to work on ongoing front-end development work for our application. Here is what we are looking for: - Expert-level experience writing plain, vanilla javascript. - Experience crafting custom and reusable components, including all the HTML, CSS, and JS. - A huge plus if you have experience with Canvas, Web-Components, Filesystem API, or any other 'modern' browser features. - A plus if you have written or have experience with the any charting-library internals. - A plus if you have any experience working on performance/algorithm-related work in JS or any other language ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In your bid please include a sample of your code, such as a Github link or zip file. The first item you will work on -- which will be our test of your competencies -- will be working on a "smooth scroll" for the fin-hypergrid canvas grid, which we use in our application. Here is an example of what we mean by 'smooth scroll', where a user can scroll 'between' rows/cols -- [login to view URL] (Excel has this, Google Sheets does not).
