How to make a line break that is visible only in Lyx and not in the PDF report?

I need someone who is expert in using Lyx and Latex. Texts of paragraphs get cramped as someone types in Lyx. Ctrl+Enter creates a line break, but this line break is visible in the generated PDF report. I am looking for a way to create extra line breaks to be visible in the Lyx editor and invisible in the generated PDF. I don't use workarounds like creating notes between paragraphs.
