Here's detail: I faced some issue when I changed document root of live website from "public_html/dev" to "public_html". I got the error while executing Magento 2 command in the root directory, There was some directory user related issues so also configured controllermodz user. I have checked server configuration in detail that website is working on ngnix and httpd. Please tell to server expert that enable only nginx service on it and set document root public_html and remove httpd server and also create replica of live website which is sibling directory of public_html, URL of dev website should be dev.controllermodz.co.uk. In simple words, When I move all file public_html/dev -> public_html and configure document root then my website is not working. Please run command php bin/magento in root directory and you will see issue.
