Artist Rep for caricaturist/illustrator

ARTIST'S AGENT/MANAGER/MARKETER/REP WANTED I'm an internationally published, well-regarded pen and ink caricaturist/artist, A-List Clients like American Express, CNBC, Belvedere Vodka, etc., private collectors include Barbra Streisand, Cameron Mackintosh , Patrick Stewart, etc If high-end markets and caricature sound like strange bedfellows, let me clarify. Although my portraits are based on exaggerated lines and shapes , they in no way resemble the work of the boardwalk caricaturist whose renderings are generic and formulaic. I approach each subject in a hip and stylish manner, usually in precisely executed pen and ink, going beyond the facial characteristics to capture the "persona" . Atypically, I also draw with a high level of technical expertise. My work is scrupulous, labor intensive and I charge accordingly. In other words, I don't show up at bar mitzvahs, weddings, or cook-outs with a pad of paper and a marker pen. However, I welcome private commissions from a client who understands that by hiring me, he is buying a legitimate piece of art. My originals sell for substantial sums and have proven to be very collectible. In fact, a number of buyers have made multiple purchases. I've also had successful, well-attended one-man shows at respected galleries in L.A. and NYC. In addition, I have an excellent, on-going "in print" visibility, as my work appears regularly in The Wall Street Journal and weekly on the theatrical website, [login to view URL], as well as many other important publications. My goals are : 1.) To increase the sales (and ultimately up the prices) of my original art and develop a market for high-quality, limited edition prints, 2.) Attract lucrative, high-end private commissions from individuals, and 3.) Reach the corporate/business/entertainment world for commissions to be used for events, gifts, incentives. I already have had interest from all of the above primarily from word of mouth and the limited visibility I presently have, but I want to reach those likely clients who haven't bought because they don't know of me . Additionally, I know there are untapped avenues of financial opportunity in the areas of products, books, gallery shows So, here's what I'm looking for: An imaginative person with a belief in the viability of my work ,who is capable of designing, strategizing, and implementing the sales/ marketing/ social media plan that will make this happen. I have many achievements and professional associations with a wide range of high-profile clients that could be promoted in order to increase my "visibility" and viability to potential clients. If you've had any previous experience handling artists or creative types, or have some familiarity with the luxury market I'm targeting (i.e., people with taste and disposable income) that would be a plus. A New York (or vicinity) based individual much preferred, and would seem to make the most sense, although I would consider an exceptional applicant who is not "local".
