Hi, My name is Colm and I'm an engineer and software developer based in Sydney. I'm new to freelancer so I'm really keen to get a few projects under my belt to establish myself in the community here. I've spent many years developing Access applications and have created many sophisticated enterprise apps for use in quality control, supply chain, KPI reporting etc. Almost all of them have been multi-user apps split with front and back ends. Hi there - my name is Paul. I have more than 25 years of experience in designing and developing MS Access applications especially for small and medium sized enterprises. I'm new at Freelancer and don't have so many feedbacks until now. But as you can see my existing customers wer 100% satisfied! To solve you problem there are some points which should be checked/clarified before: 1. your application is splitted in a backend and a frontend file? If not I can do this! 2. if you want to use the database outside fo your network do you need a connection to your backend database? If YES you have to set up a VPN, RDP or Citrix environment. I can assist how to do this! 3. A runtime solution is not really neccessary if you want to use the option 2 connections. If you intent to use the "external" applications as a stand-anlone solution you need the runtime version of access installed on each computer. I can assist how to do this! What you like to do is a little bit complex since openning your computer to internet is not a god idea. If you want to do so, you can do a better approach if you build a MySql (or SQL - more expensive) database instead into a host (such as hostgator) and then you develop an access application that connects to that data. If you wanna just use Access for it, I'm afraid that your database won't be save for too long

Hi, The run-time version is available for free from Microsoft however the user will not be able to do more than what is provided in the access forms. i.e the user will not be able to access tables directly. So the provided forms should provide all the necessary functionality to the user. The DB can be split into FE and BE. The FE is executed using the run-time. My bid price in negotiable. If the required work is straight forward and no need to make changes to the underlying code/db the bid price may get lower. Hi, I can work on this project up to your satisfaction. Milestone amount is not the criteria. I worked 14 years in IT on different projects in which 5 years in USA. My Home/office is in Hyderabad (Southern India) having high speed internet connection. so that we can use google, whatapp, gotomeeting etc for audio and video calls.
