Android Safety Audit / Checklist App

Protected with numeric passcode (eg single eight digit number) screen - Encrypted database of users (id, name, passcode) stored on device - Android screen blanking / time out causes app to revert to this screen - After entering passcode the user is returned to the last screen they were using in app Main screen to select app functions - Start an audit / checklist – displays list of templates on device - Continue an audit / checklist – displays a list of audits in progress - Link to a webpage - Display help information - Other links to be advised Audit / checklist function - Loads audits / checklists from simple template files (eg CSV, XML) stored on device - Audit / checklist questions display as a list of android style cards (scrollable) - App retains all previous answers to each question (and which user provided the answer) - Most recent answer (if there is one) pre-filled into question - History button to display all previous answers to a question (if there is more than one previous answer) – expands card to display this history - Question types include: (a) select from a list (list could be as short as yes/no) – support for scoring of answer (b) Text question (c) number question – including support for specifying range and scoring of answer (d) branching question – a yes no that determines if sub-list of questions appears All questions need to support settings for whether compulsory or not - Submit button at base of audit – only available to the user who initiated the audit Regular background syncing using Google Drive API - Upload any completed audit files (CSV) - Sync template files (download new, delete removed) - Download user database file Notes - Detailed specifications available - Suggested file and template formats available - Full source code to be handed over - no use of pre-compiled modules - Further work likely to be available if project successful - Budget is indicative and open to negotiation
