I need Java/android code that would read the audio file playback volume/db levels. Min android version is 4.4, could be done with visualizer method but i would rather see another way if possible because visualizer is highly unstable and buggy.... This is a simple task - i do not need conversion to Db i only need a reading in any form to be logged or shown on a "progress bar" That is it !
