Dear Sir, I am an expert with more than 20 years of experience in FIRMWARE development, PCB Layouts, Prototyping and Product Engineering. The battery would typically last years (depending on usage) and easily replaceable also. I will use smt Atmega328p and surface component to make your design as it can be done small. Size can be around less than 4cm x 4cm. The bluetooth part will using the HC-05 module and attach to the PCB board, it can be changed easily, just plug in and plug out if there have something problem in module. The phone side, i will using Blynk app which is free. The data can be in graph and can be exported in excel file. more easier for analyzing the data.
