I need to set up WordPress according to my specifications, which are essentially to make sure WordPress is working as a CMS more so than a blog. All I need you to do is: -Install the very latest version of WordPress on my sites' shared servers, which are running Apache 1.3.33. If you think that a server running Apache 2 would be better, I'd need a recommendation to a shared hosting provider that offers that. -Install 20-30 plugins which I will name and provide links to. -Setup permalinks. -Upload posts and pages (about 25 posts and 2-3 pages--these were already created using another wordpress version and I can send you the .sql file or any other file you request). -Set it up so that more than one (but not every) category displays on the homepage. -Modify template to allow for an optional logo. -Add a new tile to the template for a link to a crafty syntax installation. -Verify that permalinks work in the format I provide. -Verify that *all* plugins are working correctly. -I will need to use WordPress for one day to make sure it is running smoothly before accepting the project as completed. I need this same thing done for at least three sites (all set up in the identical way). Please bid on doing the first one, doing two, and doing three and possibly more. By that I mean, since the other installations are just copies of the first I do not expect to pay as much for them as the first, so please provide separate bids for if I ask you to do the other wordpresses. ## Deliverables Clarification: Note: the actual number of plugins to be installed is now around 50. All of the plugins have been uploaded to the server so you should not have to hunt them down (please notify me if any are missing). If there are plugins that conflict with each other, you should email me so that I can decide which plugin to keep. Note: your responsibility will be to make sure that the site does not return any WordPress errors, and that both the website and the feed validate, unless validation would cause problems for cross-browser support (Firefox, IE, and Opera). Note: the articles currently at [login to view URL] need to be preserved in the improved site, regardless of whether a new installation of wordpress is required. Note: the theme to be used is the teal and maroon theme currently live on [login to view URL] #Modifications to CSS# ##Layout## *Make page flush left instead of centered on the screen. ##Fonts## *Keep font the same for headers, except make the color darker, at least as dark as the teal used in the left-hand border *Make body text font Georgia, default size roughly 10 pt (but do not use em or pt; make it so that the user can adjust the font size if she wishes) *Make sidebar text font the same sanserif font that the body text is currently and also make it a darker shade when hyperlinked--the same basic color, only darker (I don't know the terms for color, but that idea) *Create style for a text "logo" to be used in the upper left teal rectangle; the style should be font: Georgia, justified, and a large enough size that the following takes up most of the rectangle without coming too close to the edges: "endometrial [login to view URL]" the style must be set so that the words do not become underlined when hyperlinked, and only become underlined when hovered over. #Modifications to Templates# *Create separate templates for each category (I will personally modify each template's design/content later; for the moment, I only want the system set up so that each of the categories can have its own template): *Create a separate template for use with static pages, separate from the one used for posts. ##Modifications to templates' page body:## -->To the quotation block in the upper right of the main body: Adsense plugin ##To left column:## **Remove "Welcome to Tannagh Gazette;" replace with "bookmark this page" plugin link and also "email this page" plugin link *Remove "Current Site News;" replace with "syndication" tile and also email signup for page updates for that plugin. *Make sure that left column appears on all pages of the site (that may require modifying the templates) *Remove word "Menu" but keep the pages tile that is there *Remove link for "home" from pages tile *Insert tile for categories links for that plugin *Insert tiles for any other installed plugins that are supposed to generate tiles *At very bottom of left column insert tile for the Amazon plugin ##To header (on all pages):## *insert header text: "endometrial cancer . org" as described above in fonts, linking it to the homepage (except on the homepage, do not include a link). *Insert a margin for the text in the purple bar. ##To header (EXCEPT on homepage/frontpage):## *Insert banner ad plugin, where it says "Endometrial Cancer Information Website" on the frontpage ##To header (on every page but homepage/frontpage):## *Replace tagline with the site's name. Leave header title and tagline on homepage the same. ##To footer:## ###Add:### sem-copyright plugin sem-navbar plugin ###Add (on templates for posts only, not for templates used on pages):### Creative Commons plugin ("cc" plugin) ###Remove:### Remove everything that is currently in the footer. ------------ 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Apache 1.3.33 server
