This is a detailed project and requires a talented project worker. I am looking for a programmer to create an API that will connect a PHP/MySQL website (dating site) with [login to view URL] API. The API should use SOAP protocol. You can read up more about the postalmethod api at their website: [login to view URL] Bids under 800 will be considered. Detailed Requirements: The basic workflow we require is below. If selected your job will be to complete items 5) to 11) of the workflow described below. Please only submit bids if you have read the workflow below and have the necessary and relevant work experience. Items 5 and 6 will take the most time.. we want a professional finish. 1) User Logins to our website 2) User buys snail mail credits on our website 3) User views a profile. Code checks to see if postal address registered If postal address registered display "Send Letter by Post Icon" If postal address registered display "Send Postcard Icon" 4) User clicks "Send letter" or "Send Postcard by Post" Check for snail mail credits If credits exist - continue If no credits - display error with link to buy credits. 5) Create Letter Editor Wizard This wizard will guide a user through the process of creating a letter. It will contain a template in the background with editable areas where users can upload images or enter text. It must look like they are creating a real letter to send by post. Text Editor must contains basic formatting features including - Font styles (6-10 styles), font sizing - Left, right text justify - Bold, underline, italics - Paragraphing etc 6) Create Postcard Editor Wizard. (Same as the letter wizard but for postcards.. good example at [login to view URL]) Editor contains basic text formatting features as in 5) In this editor you will need the functionality for uploading/deleting images. Should be very simple to use with auto resizing and ability to crop. Picture will be on front of card and text on the back with the postal address. The postal address will be sourced from the profile a user clicks on.. so this should be populated automatically. 7) Preview letter or postcard. User must see what they are going to print/post. This is either previewed via the api or alternatively previewed locally prior to sending. 8) API General Functionality Option to return to editors if changes are required, otherwise continue Ability to upload/edit or remove images. 9) SEND to postalmethods Connect with API and actually send the previewed pdf files. 10) Deduct user credits on our site. When letter is sent, snail mail credits are deducted from user account on our site. basically just subtracting a number from a field in a table. This number will be different depending on whether its a letter or postcard.. local or international. Most letters will be international. 11) Status Check on Send User has ability to check status of letter that was sent on a status page connected through api. This status will include which user or profile the letter was sent to, date, status of send. -End of Proj Description Legal: 1) I require complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future). 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): 2b) Any website server-side deliverables must be installed by the worker in ready-to-run condition in the employer's environment. 2c) Any website server-side deliverables must be provided with complete instructions and assistance so that the employer may install them in ready-to-run condition in the employer's environment. 2d) Any website server-side deliverables must be installed as described elsewhere by the employer. 2e) If there are any server-side deliverables (intended to only exist in one place in the employer's environment) then they must be installed by the worker in ready-to-run condition (unless specified elsewhere by the employer). 2f) All other software (including but not limited to any desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute) must include a software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project (unless specified elsewhere by the employer). 3) All deliverables will be considered 'work made for hire' under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's 'Worker Legal Agreement'.
