We are looking for an highly skilled, experienced and reliable Magento Developer to add to our team. We have a continuous build pipeline of Magento projects and maintenance, so if your work is excellent, please expect invitations for much more work. You will be working with a small but highly skilled team of designers and developers who have been working together for over five years. We pay well and work smart. -------------------- Brief -------------------- Recreate an existing website in Magento v1.9 -------------------- Background -------------------- This is part of a website migration project. We are migrating an existing site from OpenCart to Magento (though no experience or knowledge of Open Cart is necessary for this project) -------------------- Specification -------------------- Create all eCommerce pages with features, layouts and styling exactly as per the current site which includes: Header • Including top links and search bar Footer • Including Newsletter subscription direct to Magento Product Grid ([login to view URL]) • Left hand menu of Categories and Sub Categories (dynamic based on categories in Magento Admin) • Product grid with pagination Product Page • Including all standard features (Add to Bag, Add to Wish List) • Email a friend • Share functionality • Shop the Collection (show all products from same category) Shopping Cart Wish List Checkout Account Pages Search -------------------- Test Conditions -------------------- • Website must display and function as per current site for pages/components listed above • Match current website’s SEO friendly URLs • Cross Browser experience must be consistent for desktop versions of Chrome, Safari, FireFox, IE8-11, iPad (website not mobile responsive) • No JavaScript errors/warnings • Minimise number of W3C Validation errors -------------------- Skills -------------------- • Magento • PHP • JavaScript • HTML • CSS • GitHub • BitBucket • Excellent written communication • Ability to follow development guidelines • Ability to implement specific design -------------------- Deadline -------------------- • Monday 24th November 9AM UK Time -------------------- Budget -------------------- • We will consider bids in the region of $840 USD (Project estimated at 3 days / 24 hours with market rate of $35 per hour) -------------------- Bonus -------------------- • $150 USD additional for completing ALL specification and test conditions by Deadline (allow time for correcting bugs/errors) -------------------- Notes -------------------- This project is confidential and must not be advertised in your own portfolio, website or CV On successful application we will provide: • Current website for exact visual reference • Development Guide (including access details and source control notes) • Source Control Management will be managed via GitHub and BitBucket
