Senior Action Script / Flex Engineer for Web Based Broadcasting Software
Gemini Networks is a small start-up with a web-based media broadcasting solution for the resort industry. We are seeking a senior action script developer to assist with programming of our current SAAS content management software. With 20 clients, we are looking to enhance the system functionality. The candidate will have experience with full cycle development of enterprise systems and be interested in being part of a growing team. The work will be done remotely or on-site in San Francisco with our team.
Skills
? 3 Years Experience with AS (3.0) and Flex
? 3 Years Experience with MySQL
? Strong Experience of HTML, XHTML, XML; PHP
? Strong Experience of database design & development
? Strong experience with LAMP server
? Organized and detail oriented
? Knowledge of Video technology & mobile apps
Responsibilities
? Work with three other programmers to develop, update and test client systems
? Analyzing the system code to identify enhancements
? Analyze UI and user workflow
? Building new functionality
? Manage Product releases
? Documenting code
? Work with server administrator when required
Timing: 3-5 months, 30+ hrs per week
Hours: 8:30AM to 4:30PM Pacific Time
Start: ASAP

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING
1) Project requires complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future).
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
2a) Any website server-side deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment.
2b) If there are any server-side deliverables (intended to only exist in one place in the Employer's environment) then they must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition (unless specified elsewhere by the Employer).
2c) All other software (including but not limited to any desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute) must include a software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project (unless specified elsewhere by the Employer).
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any [copyright restricted 3rd party components][1] (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement.
