Drop Shipping Module for Oscommerce

$30-5000 USD

Paid on delivery
I've been developing the website for the company I work for and they drop ship from multiple suppliers. What they are requesting is to have the oscommerce cart set up to adjust the shipping rates based upon the location of each supplier in order to keep the costs for shipping in real time. Some of my thoughts on this would be to have the admin interface set up to be able to put in the zip code from the manufacturer and have that parse the shipping modules currently in place. Another option that might also be viable would be to have multiple oscommerce shopping carts coordinating a database for each supplier exclusively, then integrate it within one visible cart interface which the end client will be using. As long as it's seamless for the client that is shopping through the cart, how ever way you want to do it is fine with me and if you have another way of doing it, let me know. I'll be sure to give the programmer credit for this project and will be happy to endorse them for future projects as well as they will be able to add this cart I'm developing to their own portfolio. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Saturday Jun 7, 2008 4:25:16 PM: I still have nobody that has fully committed to this project. I have dialogged with a few programmers here, yet none feel confident they can take on the entire request here. I'll give you guys a little background of my experience here guys. I've worked extensively as a freelance web designer in the past, one of the reasons I'm only requesting a programmer from a developed country is due to the fact, I know from first hand experience what happened in our field once 3rd world countries started in on the field, undercutting those of us cost wise, effectively making it difficult to compete in this field. I also have signed up for another account as a designer as well and see how flaky the buyers are here in those regards, that and how so far, they are all opting to go with the lowest bidder. I'm not looking for the lowest bidder, I'm looking for someone that can handle this project and is fully confident they can follow it through to the end. Once this is in place, there will be more work for whom ever has proven themselves with me here, for I'd rather not have to shop around and I'd like to be able to rely upon individuals I can trust. There is an urgency to get this matter taken care of gentlemen since this site has to go live soon and I gotta have this issue ironed out. If you guys would like to re-evaluate what's being asked and put some thought into it, I'd apprieciate it, this is a valid project and one of many I plan upon expanding into. I also want to give you guys some further incentive on this one. Once it's set in place and functioning correctly, I will release the mod/add on to the Oscommerce community, your contact information will be included within the documentation just to give the programmer credit, help them with their portfolio, and of course, to give them bragging rights which should result in leads from outside programmers for you will have clout due to what you have created. ## Platform It's set up on a Godaddy hosting account, Linux based, and pretty typical of a hosting platform.
