PROJECT NAME: Education System 01/11/2013 SCOPE: The project is to develop an Education Management System (EMS). The EMS will be a web-based solution tailored towards the pre-school segment. The EMS should be able to accommodate management of multiple schools, with each school having permission to its own facility. The application will be divided into the following modules: • School Module o Facility - Building information o Faculty / Staffs – Manage staff and instructors o Classrooms – Classroom information o Attendance – Manage student attendance and tardiness o Activities / Events – Class activities, such as naps, craft time, or field trips o Homework – Homework assignments • Students Module o Students – Manage student records o Parents / Guardians – Manage parent records o Payments – tuition and payment records DESIGN CONCEPT: Design concept will be provided. HOSTING: The final solution will be hosting by godaddy.com. Please check their website for hosting configuration. PAYMENT STRUCTURE: Money will be Milestone and release upon successful test. COMMUNICATION: TBD (To be determined). We can co-ordinate best available times after selection. TERMINATION: This project will be terminated if I feel the development and/or communication process has stalled. If there is an issue, identify it and let me know. I need to turn in a status report as well. OWNERSHIP: Upon full payment, full ownership of the software/application will transfer to me.
