New PHP-based Website with FileMaker Backend

We are seeking a freelance developer who can take on a medium-sized development job, starting in September. This is what we want to create: We have a filemaker database (with a user interface) that has been running for a few years on a local machine. We want to build on it by enabling it to be used online, replicating the existing interface as a PHP driven web page, with separate, password protected accounts, each with their own database. For now, we plan to serve this thing ourselves (ie a mac mini in my home, with a web server and filemaker pro running on it). Once the website is designed, I will take over the day-to-day database and website maintenance. We may move to collocated hosting later on if traffic volumes justify it. This is what we will need from you: A website that replicates the functionality of our existing database, and uses the FileMaker PHP API to talk with our existing database. In addition, this web page will need a "front door" page that asks for a username and password. Since I will be taking over the website maintenance after you hand it off to us, the code needs to be super clean and well commented. I'd prefer if you used Dreamweaver as your IDE, as we already own a copy of this. Creating this website may require minor additions to our existing database (perhaps creating some new hidden layouts to be used as an interface for the PHP API).
