I'm looking to build an integrated system for a content based startup. This project will include:
-Basic responsive web design, for both desktop and mobile
-CMS that can support hundreds of thousands of users, with individual user login and admin login
-Database integration with the CMS
Details:
WEB DESIGN- To be modeled after medium.com. This includes a simplified header image, title, and beautiful text for each of the 'story' pages, complete with a login and search bar at top and a sticky social media bar at the bottom. (I will explain what the 'story' pages actually are)
Website purpose and CMS: Website is a future competitor to fanfiction.net. This means that the website will have a list of the following: (refer to [login to view URL] if you're unsure)
-User registration and login (and all supporting systems like email notification) - including the standard sign-up by facebook, twitter, etc
-User ability to create/upload, EDIT, and PUBLISH fanfiction pieces within their panel
-Organize fanfiction pieces by genre and type, language ,crossovers, and the original work it refers to
-Ability to browse/sort fanfiction by any criteria listed above or below
-Ability to comment and favorite fanfiction pieces by users
-Ability to mark fanfiction pieces as NSFW and only display to registered users
-Ability to remove advertisements for paying users
-Ability to search and advanced search
-Ability to follow stories and users and receive email notification
-Every user should have a profile page with all the stories they have written
Back end: In the admin control panel, the admin should be able to edit static pages, add/remove/ban/promote users, change basic website settings, etc etc.
Your CMS should also be able to handle huge volumes of users and fanfiction pieces/stories and still be efficient. The database configuration should be prepared to contain 1 million fanfiction pieces.
This project can be done from scratch or using whatever code/system you have saved up from previous projects. The price range is also tentative, so only use it as a guideline. If you feel that you require more money then by all means bid higher than the maximum. Vice versa for if you feel like this can be done for less.
