Create a modified wordpress child theme and create page sliders.

Seeking WordPress developer and/or freelancer that has experience of the Genesis Framework from StudioPress. The project, to help update and modify and existing WordPress site, to create a modified child theme, to reduce the height of site header area, insert a large home page slider and to create individual sliders for each of the site pages. Some premium plugins are already installed and I am happy to purchase other if required. The project deliverables need to include: • A custom child theme • A full working homepage with, navigation, sliders and content areas • Individual working sliders for each content main section • The menu structure linking to pages with existing content. • to provide an interesting way for displaying a customer gallery, of pictures from posts in the customer gallery catalogue. • Content page design with right hand side bar. Our initial suggestion is to modify an existing site : [login to view URL], however we are very happy to consider alternative strategies. The design has to be RESPONSIVE. The larger homepage slider should take it’s styling from Mac OS desktop. The initial sequence should be just text and then move on to a Bink & Shrink animation of each of the products. 1. They should shake if rolled over and link to the product page if clicked. Applicants must be adept at modifying standard Studio Press themes and/or creating custom child themes. We will provide: • Genesis framework from StudioPress, • The StudioPress theme • Company logo & product images • And some other company branding images. Desired Skill Requirements • Strong understanding of the WordPress core • Experience with StudioPress' Genesis framework a must • Knowledge of CSS and PHP • Knowledge of MySQL • Understanding of web servers and shared hosting environments • Ability to manage project to do list and deliverables Ideal Personality Traits • Highly organized and excellent time management skill • Can work independently from home or remote office • Does not like to be micromanaged • Self-motivated • Ability to say "no" and "there is a better way"
