Create automated Script to run on Ubuntu or Windows--2

Script needs to monitor an email account in real time using noop command every 1 second. Script will click link inside email if content inside email matches certain criteria. Once clicked, browser will open, then submit a code. If wrong code is submitted, it needs to be retried using new code. Every step of the script needs to be logged with date/time stamp for error reporting, error improvement & performance improvement purposes. Script needs run asynchronously and be multi-threaded so if a new email arrives before the prior script process has completed, each new email will get processed in real time with no delay. If the script errors or stops for some reason, an email should be sent with the details of the error that caused it to stop. Script should run in Windows or Ubuntu, and should not be a browser extension. Source code of script needs to be fully available and editable by using a text editor. As the script is running, it should be viewable via Terminal/Command/PowerShell. If certain scripts, commands, or software needs to be installed/setup on the OS in order for this script to function 100%, a step by step guide needs to be provided.
