Hello, I understand the need for quickly putting your e-commerce site back online. In the present case, the plugin needs to be renamed or moved out of the plugins folder. Hopefully, it hasn't modified your htaccess. I would recommend placing a cron for making backups of your WordPress directory with a retention according to your needs and disk space so that you can easily rollback. For editing problems via FTP we need to make sure the FTP user has the correct permissions on that folder or whether SELinux is interfering. A look at the logs will help understand the real cause. As of slow uploads, a ping towards the server from your desktop will indicate possible latencies if any and live tests need to be done to get the root cause. Looking forward to help you. I have experience in wordpress directories. May be the issue is with the incorrect ownership for the directories, as you are unable to delete via FTP. Will complete the work within 5 hours.
