I have a project of hospital appointment booking system., in that., we have 2 options - if the user didn't select the doctor., then appointment time will open from 9 AM to 5 PM. In that., it will take max 3 appointments at the same time. Another option - if user selects the specific doctor, it will opens the slots from doctors available time (we are providing the doctor's available timings from and to) if user book an appointment at specific slot, then the slot was disabled and in red color, if slot is opened then available in green color. Slot timings are 15 min. Eg: 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM.
