URGENT JOB - MUST BE DONE BEFORE SUNDAY
I'm using Summernote WYSIWYG-editor to handle text in a custom CMS-system (PHP/MySQL) .
I got a developer to add an upload handler for me (summernoteImageHandler). This lets me upload and scale pictures on the fly into the WYSIWYG-editor from SummerNote.
There is one bug in it. Images are stored in the database without the full url to the pictures. So the images only show from the admin-side.
Your job is to fix it, and also make sure the Summernote editor works nicely (align left and scale down after save).
I have tried to fix it, but I have lost motivation to find the solution. I'm simply giving up and want fresh eyes on it! I managed to get the images to show finally on the front-end, but then something broke again and then I lost the option to scale down the pictures in the Summernote-editor. Each time I save, the image dimentions are put back to full image.
The biggest problem is that you need to give paths to the program in a spesific way, both the URL and the PATH. Sometimes it is the relative path, sometimes the other way around.
I have about three different paths that the program MUST work with. This is because my program can be used with the /upload-directory in three different locations (
Example of the upload folders (just examples, my folder isn't called uploads, but similar):
The fix should also be solid, easy to read code.
NOTE: You must work directly using SFTP on a test-server to debug the issue.
Only bid if you are experienced with js and this kind of issue OR have used Summernote and this class before.
