We are spinning a business out of a London University. The focus of the enterprise will be the development and commercialisation of genetic diagnostics for the detection and characterisation of cancer. Our research has developed a number of different tests for different cancers so we need a company name that is generic for cancer rather than specific for a particular cancer site (colon, breast etc). Our technology is very novel and we are at the forefront of genomic research. Most of our tests will operate on biological samples that are easy to obtain and somewhat similar to the concept of liquid biopsies.
