Looking for developer with experience to create application to take serial data that has been sent over TCP/IP from multiple locations and interpret and write that data to a MYSQL database.
We currently have 6 locations that send serial data over TCP/IP to a software application where it is decoded and written to the data base. We would like to replace that software with our own application to decode and write to a database. There could be as many as 40 locations sending data back at one time. These locations transmit from a few times per hour to a few times per minute.
Please contact us with examples of previous work or for more information including data structure. Solution can run on a Linux server or Windows.
