This is a software that we want to produce for an iPad, that can manage customers and contacts. that can have forms filled out and generate PDF certificates and have those certificates sent via email. After the certificates are generated they should be archived to be used or search later.
The client wants is to convert some existing forms that he has into digital forms that can be filled out on his iPad.
Additionally he would like us to take an existing software and convert everything to ACT or another less expensive lic. Maybe if there is an stable open source tool that we could use that would be great
Manage client contacts and the work that has been done for them. Each job is accompanied by one or more "certificates" these are government mandated threshold standards that each of these clients it required to maintain. They hire our client to check, correct and generate certificates for. So an example of this path might be:
1. Client calls for inspection and certification services
2. schedule visit (logging time and date is important so that when a client comes back they will know when their last inspection was
3. worker shows up at the job and performs that testing
4. Client signs for work
5. Worker fills out one or more forms
6. A certificate is generated
7. Schedule next visit
So this is part customer communication management as well as the forms that need to be filled out and the certificate that needs to be generated. The certificate should be a be generated after all of the forms are filled out as a PDF and automatically be sent to the client via email.
The existing certs and communication as well as those moving forward need to be archived.
