Design Arduino circuit and program to automate watering plants

I'm doing a BTP(btech project) and start up on the same idea. I have already developed the idea and proposed functioning. Rest is using IOT into matter. A program based on time or sensor data , or WiFi connected module can be used for synchronisation and making the motor on/off based on timings and other environmental activities . This is a basic and simple prototype but we can do more on it by using AI and ML , like using temperature data , humidity data from internet on a server and using it to plant in a vast area . This will be the best management of water . We can use data of heat waves which can be used to automate this process. Aurdino cost must be bared by you.
