I need help to set up connection between TWS and Python3 to retrieve historical data. You will have to download and install needed API files on my machine and set up basic script in Visual Studio Code to download historical data from Interactive Broker. IDE: Visual Studio Code TWS API docs: [login to view URL] OS: MacOS Python version 3 is a must.

Hi I am already doing this project for a customer. i.e I have written code to download data from IB using the NATIVE API of IB. (please note that I am not using any third party software) My Code is successfully downloading data from the IB and saving in SQL DB. Feel free to discuss more. regards
