I transcend the gap between perception and reality – transform 2D architectural drawings into photorealistic 3D images to give you a sense of the space, form, colour and scale of your design.
To ensure I am clear on the brief, the first point of call is a video conference with the entity or individual who has the need to present a photorealistic image of the proposed building to their client. This could be the architectural firm, an owner, company, investor.
At this initial meeting I need the following information
• the specific client need-, level of photorealism and imagery required
• customisation according to their lifestyle, home environment etc.
• the external environment of the proposed building (topography, setting, climate, orientation)
• The mood of the required image
• Any additional information that might add to a positive outcome
Next I require electronic 2D architectural drawing / floorplan, (working from CAD and any additional images or sketches). I use this information to start breathing life into the 3d image via dedicated 3d imagery programmes.
I then provide the client with a 3D ‘foam model’, to verify the interpretation of the plan and confirm work done.
Once I have the approval that the base 3D model aligns to the artistic vision, I start applying textures, colour and lighting in order to produce the final product.
