We have a java-based proxy using the netty framework. The user inputs their credentials into a proxy authentication box, these credentials are passed along down the netty pipeline. The application then intercepts https traffic. It works flawlessly on all devices apart from Apple. For some reason Apple products are not sending the Proxy-authorization header with the HTTPS requests, but it does with a HTTP request. We need a java developer with experience in netty and dealing with Apple products, the developer would also need the ability to debug using an Apple product.
