Hi, sounds like a good project for me. I have worked many years dubbing movies in Italy. So I'm thinking it's more or less the same: removing clicks, pops, pages turning, narrator's mistakes and syncing the vocal track so as to make it flow nicely with correct pause lengths. Then we run the whole track into some audio mastering equipment to uniform the sound to get good levels. How long are the tracks? Thank you for responding. Charles

Currently I am a freelance producer/engineer working on music projects as well as a runner for producer Rick Rubin's Shangri-la studio. Previously I was a freelance engineer at several studios in San Francisco, worked as an editor for audiobooks for the blind in Arizona, and spent several years producing and engineering voiceover for corporate clients in Cincinnati, OH. Hello, I am a professional dialogue editor working as a freelancer in Film Audio Studios. This company works with many different clients such as DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox Animation. I usually work on dubbing projects, where I need to clean, edit and process actors' voices to different standards (cinema, TV or audio CD). Having a long experience in working with documentaries as an independent sound mixer, I am now skilled with various tools and techniques on sound cleaning with great emphasis on dialogues' cleaning. Therefore I think my experience and skills could bring your project to a high level. To give you better idea of what way I would complete the project, here are typical strategy that I always use for dialogue editing: 1) Listening an audio-material and making remarks and notes 2) Dividing the actors' voices appropriately depending on amount of correction required (timbre, recording quality etc.) 3) Normalize the levels and make them more equal across the whole track 4) Cutting out breaths and other unnecessary sounds 5) Timbre correction and EQ 6) Final editing (compression, adding air etc.) If you would like to discuss this matter further, don't hesitate to contact me via one of the options provided on my profile page. As can be found on my portfolio, I have have produced a lengthy (11 hour) audiobook, as well as a more intricate children's book, and other related products like radio theatre and audio documentaries.
