I want to start some visualizations of ideas I have around a rnch house for some property I own. I'd like to have it modeled in SketchUp (as I know how to use it a bit and can modify the models to experiment) and like geolocating the model so I can visualize with Google Earth. I am not looking for precision or depth here. I am looking for someone who can rough stuff up, take direction and possibly contribute ideas. There would be a 75' swimming pool with hot tub adjoining. A sled (slanted) roof with high windows facing the pond. The main house by the pool would have a recessed area covered by the roof with windows and doors to the inside. Heat lamps and lighting would be underneat the roof there. This main house will have a kitchen, dining, a bathroom and play area. I'd like to keep it fairly opened. The kitchen would be on the outside of the house away from the windows. The other wing of the house would have 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. A hallway to the right after you enter the house down the center with two simple bedrooms on the right and two bedrooms on the left with a shared bathroom for each. The bedrooms will all have king beds, a simple closet, and some seating). Straight ahead would be the master bedroom with a bath. Decks are on both sides and bedrooms will have sliding doors to step out right to the decks. The upsloping roof houses a deep garage and the cantilevered rood is to park an RV and a boat underneath. I'd like to work with someone to start to flesh out the idea I have in my head and to also give suggestions in their experience of they think would be nice. It is just for ideation for myself so accuracy is not critical. I am imagining 8-10 hours of initial work. I'd liek the model to be in SketchUp because I know how to use it a bit and can modify/move things. I'd also like it geolocated in Google Earth. I am product design engineer, so I don't know standards in building and architecture. I am just looking to explore at this point. Below is a rough starting model I started on to start to communicate where I am headed.
