I’m a bilingual, native speaker of both Finnish and Russian and I’m also a fluent speaker of English. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in translations with focus on translation, transcribing, and proofreading work. For the past year I’ve been working on various different projects as a freelance translator, proofreader and transcriber, with my main working languages being English and Finnish. I’ve been translating websites, product descriptions, ads and other marketing content and proofreading the texts. One of the biggest projects was translating and localizing a language learning app from English to Finnish. I’ve also done some transcriptions and worked on a speech recognition project as a Finnish transcriber where I was doing audio-to-text transcribing, correcting transcriptions and adding annotations.
