Hi There,
I've been working in automation testing for more than ten years. Moreover, I worked as a C# developer for two years which help me develop a lot external tools in automation testing. I am an expert on QTP framework design. For example, the general structure should be in this way:
1. Create a root folder named "ProjectXX"
2. Create three folders "Resources","Reusable Actions","Test suites" under "ProjectXX"
3. Create folders "datapools", "libs", "objects" under "Resources" folder.
4. Put the data files(e.g. csv/excel/txt...) to "datapool" folder, put vbs/lib files to "libs" folder, put QTP objects files to "Resources" folder.
5. Extract your reusable actions and put them all in folder "Reusable actions"
6. Put all your individual scripts to folder test suites.
By doing the above steps, you will have a amazing framework of QTP scripts. It is easy to refine scripts and implement new functionality.
Last but not the least, we could also make the testing automated.(Running automation testing without manual operation. Once a new build is generated, the automation testing will be executed automatically, after scripts are executed, an email of the test results will sent to your mailbox automatically).
Please let me know if you are interested. We could have a further discussion. I can show you a demo of my accomplishments.
