Video Editor for Reality Series "Chasing My Dreams"

About The Job: You will be working with a post producer/vfx artist & the founder of the film company. Editing videos for a reality series will be the main task, and occasionally editing YouTube videos and online courses. Spend the whole day editing videos that inspire you and educate you. The company goals are to get our message to millions of people, helping them live more rewarding and impactful lives. We create a reality series, music & music videos and an online course, which helps people get their passion projects funded. Compensation: • To be decided based on your experience and work ethic. (pay is a placeholder until we talk) (example: $400/mo for part time) • Part time to start, but can increase to full time if you do great work. Daily Work Description: Types of videos to be edited: • TOP PRIORITY: Reality Series: Watch this example: [login to view URL] • OCCASIONALLY: YouTube videos, Training Videos Example: [login to view URL] Your requirements as a video editor will be: Editing Video: Receiving raw files & instructions for editing. Creating a 'rough cut' of the video/film for first revision. Cutting the files and deciding what is usable, to put together the sequence of the video/film. Receiving revision requests, making those revisions, and re-submitting them. Fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the Film/video. Adding music / scoring film, making sure video/film is creatively in sync with music. Color grading the final version of each episode/video. Editing Audio: Working on the sequence audios/voices, to make them equal, nice and clean. (The majority of them will be voices.) Adding music bumpers when needed. Requirements: Active Adobe Subscription (send proof) Be very good / fast working on Adobe Premiere/Audition. (Knowledge about Adobe After Effects is a plus, but not a requirement.) Gmail account to have access/download/upload the content, and for communication. HDD storage space to have all the footage from the episodes. (We are currently working on 8 episodes that were already shot, and the estimated space required for every episode RAW footage is between 50GB to 100GB, no more for now.) MUST be willing to work in US timezones NOTE: Extra space will be needed to get all the postproduced videos and animations you will receive from the Post Production/vfx artist. Minimum 4 years of professional experience. Meets deadlines. Highly responsive. Highly skilled in color grading. Familiarity with special effects, motion graphics & compositing workflow. Creative mind & storytelling skills. Basic audio editing skills. Additional Notes: Color grading is incredibly important to us. IMPORTANT: The Employee will not be able to post or publish the content he/we create for me online, or on any other platform, including their portfolio. Doing so will result in immediate termination of this contract.
