We have several short projects on a few different websites that require a boost in styling/layout. I am looking for a web designer with exceptional HTML/CSS skills and extensive WordPress familiarity that can make changes to these websites and take them 'to the next level'. This is more about design and attention to visual display than a technical position. Applicants should have a strong artistic skill set and/or design background. Applicants must also be able to work efficiently and with little direction to achieve better results, using their keen artistic eye, attention to detail, and extensive familiarity with HTML/CSS and WordPress. Applicants should have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the use of websites like [login to view URL] to quickly create and edit images and losslessly compress them for web use. Applicant should be organized, particularly with assets and folders for assets on the back-end of websites. Should also be familiar with proper alt-tagging and file-naming conventions.
