My name is Rashmi, and I am currently working as a Private Equity Analyst Intern with Romero Capital. My current role involves assisting the Managing Partner in reviewing small businesses by analyzing the financial statements, conducting due diligence, performing valuation, building the financial models and preparing the investment thesis. I have a diverse background in the financial industry with experience in private equity, capital markets and retail banking. I got an opportunity to work in various roles such as valuations, process analysis, security pricing, relationship management, and project management in both financial services and IT industry. In addition to this, I also completed my Master of Science in Finance recently at the University of Miami, where I took a few courses such as Private Equity, Alternative Investments, Corporate Finance, Financial Modelling, and Financial Investments to learn more about financial markets and business valuations.
