We have a few customers that use a practice management software (PMS) called Exact that has the capability to push out patient details to a .txt file when a button in the software is pressed.
When the button is pressed in exact we need it to run either a script or an bat file that will get this data and put it in to an .XML file in a certain format and save the xml file in a certain folder with the same prefix every time but each time the xml file is generated it needs to automatically go to the next number (example [login to view URL] then [login to view URL] and so on.) it also needs to create a blank xml file with the file saving as [login to view URL] to match the xml file with the patient details in it.
Once the xml files are saved in the correct folder in the C:\program files\owandy\julie folder we then need the script or bat file to open the imaging software (Quickvision), the software on opening checks the specific folder for xml files and imports the info but we need it to display the patient that was just imported in via the xml file which so far just using the attached .xml files we have been unable to do.
