Children's Book Art

Seeking an illustrator to help illustrate my children's storybook. This is a private project that will result in two single-print books. The images would not be used commercially. I am creating two short books as a gift for my mother in law. She has recently lost both of her parents and I want to offer her a way to easily share her stories and memories of them with my daughter as she grows up. I have put together a 10-page story about each of her parents. Each page will be accompanied by one illustration that you will create. The illustration will relate to the content of the page, and I will provide a specific description of what I think each illustration should entail. There will be around 5-6 illustrations that will be pulled directly from photographs. The rest will be descriptions but I can share images of the people that will appear in the illustration. I would like if the illustrations can be recognizable as the person or people they are supposed to depict. Required Skills: - Proficient in cartoon-style illustrations - Ability to create cartoon images that have recognizable faces in them - Ability to cartoonize a photograph with some adjustments Job Details: - Create around 20 cartoon-style illustrations - Target audience: my family - Artwork should be colorful, playful, and age-appropriate If you're passionate about creating magical visual stories for children and have experience with cartoon illustrations, I'd love to see your work.
