I’m seeking a professional developer to carry out an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) project. This is for an existing business, and will require importing text data from photographs into a PostgreSQL database. The developer will then need to integrate this functionality with our existing PHP-based website. Below will be the work flow for project Step 1: Implement a button on a PHP-based website labeled 'Import Bills'. When clicked, it triggers the import process. Step 2: Upon clicking the 'Import Bills' button, provide a browse option allowing the user to select the bill image from their disk. Step 3: Utilize an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) plugin to extract data from the selected image. This extracted data is then compared with existing data in the PostgreSQL database. A popup will display the mapped data and additional information. Unmapped data will require user intervention for mapping. Step 4: The bill image may have variable column structures, such as vendor information followed by product details like a product grid and total discount/net amount information. The system dynamically reads and processes these columns. It identifies potential matches for the products and flags unmatched data for user mapping. Step 5: After reviewing and confirming the mapped data, the user can proceed by clicking an 'Import' button. This action saves the data into designated product tables within the PostgreSQL database.
