Seeking a compelling new mobile app icon for a public transit app. The design should integrate our primary colors which are blue and white. Old app icon provided for reference. The new design, which cannot simply be the letter M, might possibly incorporate the rail line colors on the system map file provided. Simple is better. Final deliverable should be in Adobe Illustrator Artwork file (AI) format. • Designer should have a solid grasp of iconography, color theory and commercial design principles. • Understanding of local symbols or cues associated with public transit would be useful. • Needs to be visually appealing and instantly recognizable as a transit tool.
